Swimming at 24 months old! from Kelly Swindell on Vimeo.
Amazing isn't it? The child in the video is only 24 months old. I often get questions from parents if there has ever been a child that could not perform these skills. In my experience, I have yet to have a child who could not perform the self-rescue skills upon completing the ISR program. If parents adhere to the protocols of the program and listen to the advice of the instructor the child will be successful. Every child is different and lessons are customized to the child as an individual. Some children learn quickly and some will require a slower pace, but they all learn the skills. Because this program is science based, it works. There is scientific theory behind every technique. We want your child to be successful and confident in the water. Nothing is more important than your child's safety thus the purpose for our medically sound program. It takes both the instructor and the parents to set a child up for success. Encouragement, patience, and following the guidelines set by ISR and your instructor will allow your child to have a strong foundation for a positive and successful ISR experience.
